Eyeglass exams

Our comprehensive eye exam is $99*. 

This includes an eyeglass prescription, Optos widefield view photo or dilation, and eye health examination. 

We check for cataracts, diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and many other diseases.

* The only insurance that we currently take is NVA and Costco employee insurance.

Our contact lens exam starts at $125*.

This includes an eyeglass prescription, Optos widefield view photo, or dilation, eye health examination, and a contact lens fitting and prescription. 

We fit a variety of soft contact lens modalities including daily disposables, astigmatism, multifocal, and monovision. 

Don't forget to ask us about Misight 1 Day lenses. The FDA-approved lens that slows down nearsightedness in growing kids!

Our medical exam is $65-95*. 
 
This is a problem-focused exam.  For emergencies, red eye, pink eye, dry eye, itchy eyes, floaters, or anything else that is bothering your eyes. ​

*A check of your glasses/contact lens prescription is NOT performed.

Does your child's prescription continue to get worse year after year? Come learn about the new FDA approved contact lens for kids-called Misight. It corrects their blurry vision while also helping to slow their worsening prescription as they grow.

Do you suffer from dry eyes? You're in good company because according to recent studies* up to 73% of the population suffers from varying effects of dryness. Dryness can be caused by many different factors and we would be happy to help assess and treat them. We now have an Optilight by Lumenis-one of the only FDA-approved treatments that is non-invasive for dry eye. We're one of the few practices on the west side of the valley and patients are loving the results. We'd be happy to assess your eyes and help alleviate your dry eye symptoms today.

Do you accept same-day walk-ins?

Walk-in exams are often available, but not guaranteed.

Do you have to be a Costco member to schedule an exam?

You do not need to be a Costco member to be seen by our doctors. We are an independent optometry practice inside Costco.

You do need to have a membership to order glasses and contact lenses through Costco. We would love to recommend options available at Costco.

Do you accept insurance?

​The only insurance that we currently take is NVA and Costco employee insurance.

We would be happy to print out an itemized receipt for you to submit a claim to your insurance company if your plan has eligible out-of-network benefits.

NOTE: COSTCO OPTICAL IS IN-NETWORK WITH MANY VISION PLANS. THEY CAN FILE YOUR CLAIM DIRECTLY.

Is there an additional fee for the Optomap retinal imaging exam?

No, the Optomap is included in your eye exam ($40 dollar value) provides a 200° scan of the back of your eyes. It helps the doctor screen for diseases like: glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, hypertensive eye disease, retinal tears, and tumors.
